These terms govern your participation in the DataSet2B contributor programme — the service where you record real tasks from a first-person view, narrate what you are doing, and get paid per approved hour of video. By creating an account at app.dataset2b.com and submitting recordings, you agree to what is written here.

1. Acceptance

Read these terms before signing up. If you disagree with any point, do not create an account and do not submit recordings. Your acceptance is recorded with a date and time stamp on your account.

2. Who can take part

  • Be 18 or older and have full legal capacity.
  • Reside in Brazil and hold a valid CPF and a Pix key in your own name.
  • Have a smartphone capable of recording sharp, stable video, meeting the requirements published in the app.
  • Provide truthful information at sign-up and keep it up to date.

We may refuse sign-ups and close accounts that do not meet these requirements.

3. Your account

Your account is personal and non-transferable. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for everything done with your credentials. One person, one account: duplicate accounts are closed, and hours pending on them may go unpaid.

Tell us immediately at contact@dataset2b.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Nature of the relationship

You take part as an independent contributor. These terms do not create an employment relationship, partnership, franchise or agency between you and DataSet2B.

There are no set hours, no exclusivity, no subordination, no mandatory targets and no obligation to accept any task. You decide whether, what, when and how much you record, and you can stop at any time. Taxes on the amounts you receive are your responsibility, subject to any applicable legal withholding.

5. Recording rules

  • First person and a real task: record an activity you actually perform, from your own point of view. Nothing staged or simulated.
  • Narrate in your own voice: describe what you are doing as you do it. AI-generated voice, dubbing and narration by someone else are not accepted.
  • Minimum narration pace as stated in the task — currently 25 words per minute.
  • Stable, sharp footage, with your hands and the task visible.
  • Safety first: never record while driving, at height, with a dangerous tool without protection, or in any situation that puts you or anyone else at risk. No task is worth an accident.
  • Legality: do not record unlawful activity, or in a place where recording is prohibited, or without permission from whoever is responsible for the premises.
  • Other people: keep the focus on your hands and the task. If another person appears or can be heard, you need their consent before submitting.
  • No sensitive data in frame: documents, screens with personal data, passwords, ID badges and third-party confidential information must not appear.
  • Originality: submit only material you recorded yourself and have not submitted before. Do not resubmit, crop or recycle earlier recordings.

6. Review and rejection

Every submission goes through automated and human review. The result appears in your dashboard with the reason. The most common reasons for rejection are narration below the minimum pace, AI-generated voice, shaky footage, a low-priority task, and the presence of third parties without consent.

Rejected hours are not paid. You can fix the problem and record again, and you can request human review of an automated decision by writing to contact@dataset2b.com.

Demand for each type of task varies. A task may stop being a priority between the moment you record and the moment you submit — check the priority list in the app before recording.

7. Payment

  • The current rate is R$ 50 per approved hour of video, calculated pro rata to the approved time.
  • Payment is weekly, via Pix, covering the hours approved in the previous week, to the key registered in your own name.
  • An incorrect, out-of-date or third-party Pix key can delay or prevent payment. Keeping that detail correct is your responsibility.
  • We may hold or suspend payments while investigating evidence of fraud, and will not pay for submissions obtained in breach of these terms.
  • The hourly rate may change. Changes are announced at least 15 days in advance and apply only to recordings submitted after the change takes effect.

8. Rights in the material

The recordings are yours. By submitting a recording and being paid for it, you grant DataSet2B a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, sublicensable and transferable licence to store, reproduce, edit, transcribe, annotate, build into datasets, commercialise and license to third parties the video, the audio of your narration, your likeness and any derived data, for the purpose of training, evaluating and improving artificial intelligence systems.

The licence is remunerated by the per-approved-hour rate, and does not create a right to additional payment for later use, reuse or sublicensing.

You represent that you hold all rights necessary over the material you submit, including image and voice releases from anyone appearing in the recording.

On withdrawal: you may withdraw consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, as set out in the Privacy policy. Withdrawal ends new uses and sublicensing, but does not reach retroactively into copies already delivered to clients or models already trained.

The platform's own elements — brand, site, app, guidance materials and software — remain the property of DataSet2B.

9. Prohibited conduct

  • Creating more than one account, or using someone else's identity.
  • Submitting material recorded by another person, downloaded from the internet, or generated by AI.
  • Using a synthetic voice, staging tasks, or padding video length to inflate hours.
  • Circumventing, automating against or probing the security of the review systems.
  • Submitting illegal, violent, discriminatory or sexual content.
  • Exposing third parties' personal data without consent.
  • Reselling, republishing or licensing to others the same recordings submitted to us in a way that conflicts with the licence in section 8.

10. Suspension and closure

We may suspend or close your account, with notice and a stated reason, for breach of these terms, consistent evidence of fraud, or legal requirement. Serious breaches may result in non-payment of the submissions involved.

You can close your account whenever you like, through the app or by writing to contact@dataset2b.com. Hours already approved before closure are paid normally in the following cycle.

11. Platform availability

We work to keep the service up, but it is provided “as is”. There may be maintenance, instability and changes in functionality. We do not guarantee a minimum volume of tasks, continuity of the programme, or any level of earnings — the figures on the site are per-approved-hour references, not a promise of income.

12. Liability

You are responsible for how you perform and record the tasks, including your own safety, the safety of others, and compliance with the rules of the place where you record.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, DataSet2B's liability for any claim relating to these terms is limited to the total paid to you in the 12 months preceding the event. Nothing here removes rights that Brazilian law does not allow to be limited.

13. Privacy

How we handle your personal data is described in the Privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

14. Changes

We may amend these terms. Material changes are announced by email or in the dashboard at least 15 days in advance. If you keep submitting recordings after they take effect, you are deemed to have accepted the new version; if you disagree, you may close your account at no cost.

15. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the contributor's place of domicile are chosen to settle any dispute.

16. Contact
